Ensuring High-Quality Mathematics Instruction in Your District – Day 2
February 27 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
The Math Institute is excited to offer a second opportunity for leaders to deepen their understanding of high-quality mathematics instruction, with a focus on making sure that math instruction is accessible and equitable for all learners. If you couldn’t get enough on Day 1, then join us for more!
We’ll explore and discuss responsive teaching practices that work in the math classroom; we’ll also consider how teachers already engage in responsive teaching, and how leaders can build on these strengths. We’ll share resources that promote collaboration as a necessary step toward planning and implementing high-quality instruction for all students.
Administrators have a unique privilege to be responsive to educators’ needs and celebrate their successes. When we build on people’s strengths, change is more likely to happen.
