IM K-5 Math: Leading IM Math Implementation

IM Professional Learning for leaders who have adopted IM K-5 Math and are preparing to support implementation.

How can instructional leaders play a role in facilitating successful implementation of the IM curriculum? The purpose of this session is to examine the key role of instructional leaders in establishing and supporting the conditions necessary for equitable mathematics instruction that meets rigorous and ambitious learning goals. The session builds on participants’ understanding of the problem-based lesson structure and IM’s approach to access and challenge, developed in the Curriculum Overview for School Leaders.

Learning Goals

  • Explore the student-centered fabric of IM Math, problem-based teaching and learning.
  • Examine implementation drivers and barriers.
  • Describe the specific role and critical actions school leaders make to lead successful IM Math implementation.

Audience: School leaders who have adopted IM K–5 Math and are preparing to support the first year of implementation

REFUND POLICY: Cancellations made more than 180 days prior to this event will receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made between 180 and 30 days of the event will receive a 50% refund minus a 10% processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the event.
