Each Summer Institute course is interactive, models best practices, and is designed to provide in-depth learning and exploration of a single domain or conceptual category. Participants have the opportunity to experience learning from the student lens with the support of highly-qualified facilitators. Come ready to roll-up your sleeves and find new tools and knowledge, and leave empowered to take your experiences back to the classroom!
6-8 Statistics
Get ready to empower your students as they collect and analyze data. This course will help you advance your knowledge of key statistical concepts in Grades 6-8 by experiencing tasks that develop statistical ideas conceptually.

Event Capacity: This workshop will be capped at 32 participants.
The deadline to register is July 12, 2023.
*Workshop may not run if enrollment is less than 15 participants. In the event of a cancellation due to low enrollment full refunds will be issued.*
Refund Policy:
Cancellations made more than 180 days prior to this event will receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made between 180 and 30 days of the event will receive a 50% refund minus a 10% processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the event.

Course Credit: This course is available for university credit through our partnership with the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
- This course can be taken for 2-3 undergraduate or graduate credits.
- The cost per credit is $202 per undergraduate credit and $395 per graduate credit. (*pricing subject to change.)
