Professional Development Courses - Summer Institutes

Transformative, In-depth, Intensive, and Fun!

Summer Institutes offer a unique extended format professional development experience. The courses are interactive, model best practices, and provide a learning community for teachers. Participants have the opportunity to experience learning from the student lens with the support of highly-qualified facilitators. Come ready to roll-up your sleeves and find new tools and knowledge, and leave empowered to take your experiences back to the classroom!

The extended format is designed to allow teachers to take a truly deep dive into our mathematics content courses. Courses are designed to foster knowledge across all areas of math programming – standards, progressions, and practices – giving educators and instructional leaders a new confidence around mathematics.

Each Summer Institute course is designed to provide in-depth learning and exploration of a single domain or conceptual category. Participants spend the whole institute exploring one topic to gain a new understanding of the information and how to approach it in their classroom. The Math Institute currently offers eleven different content courses with course offerings varying by location.
