ADD+VANTAGE Numeracy Foundations Course offered by the Math Institute of WI!
Add+Vantage Numeracy Foundations empowers educators to use dynamic student interview tasks and research-based learning progressions to analyze lessons for core instruction and guide instruction in early numeracy, focusing on number words and numerals as well as addition and subtraction concepts within 20.
Learning Outcomes:
- Analyze student thinking using research-based learning progressions in early numeracy to recognize how students develop number sense and additive reasoning.
- Use interviews, tasks, and observations to collect meaningful evidence of student reasoning.
- Plan and adjust instruction using students’ zones of understanding and grade-level standards
- Build students’ confidence and identity as capable mathematical thinkers.

*Workshop may not run if enrollment is less than 15 participants. In the event of a cancellation due to low enrollment full refunds will be issued.*
Refund Policy:
Cancellations made more than 180 days prior to this event will receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made between 180 and 30 days of the event will receive a 50% refund minus a 10% processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the event.
