How might teachers leverage the coherence of IM 6–12 Math in order to enhance access to grade-level mathematics for students? The purpose of this session is to uncover and explore the development of slope and linear relationships topics in the curriculum.
LEARNING GOALS
- Differentiate the purposes of various representations.
- Explain how representations are used to help students understand concepts and mathematical structure.
- Describe the purpose of one progression of representations in the curriculum.
- Recognize connections and dependencies across units and courses within IM Math.
